Ngamotu Hotels Limited T/A Novotel New Plymouth. Terms & Conditions of Sale for Event Tickets

Any ticket issued is subject to the following conditions of sale and may be revoked by the issuer, proprietor of the venue and/or organiser of the event for breach of any of the specified conditions. Novotel New Plymouth  may change or amend these Terms & Conditions of Sale at any time.

Overview

Novotel New Plymouth sells tickets to events held and/or as an agent on behalf of other event promoters holding events either at the premises of Novotel New Plymouth or other locations.

Your ticket

When you purchase your tickets online, a confirmation will be sent to the email address provided. A receipt/tax invoice will be included with the confirmation.
All ticket prices are shown in NZ Dollars and include GST where applicable. Novotel New Plymouth accepts all major credit cards.

Postponements, cancellations & refunds

Tickets cannot be refunded, exchanged or cancelled once issued except in accordance with the applicable laws of New Zealand. Whilst every effort will be made to run all advertised events, Novotel New Plymouth  reserves the right to cancel an event due to low numbers or other circumstances which would make the event unviable. If Novotel New Plymouth  cancels any event, attendees will be offered a full refund. Should circumstances arise that result in the postponement of an event, attendees will have the option to either receive a full refund or transfer registration to the same event at the new, future date. Novotel New Plymouth will endeavour to notify attendees as soon as practicable of cancellations and postponements and will not be liable for any expenses incurred by attendees as a result of the cancellations and/or postponements.

Force Majeure

Under no circumstances will Novotel New Plymouth be held liable for any delay or failure in performance resulting directly or indirectly from acts of nature, forces or causes beyond its reasonable control including without limitation fires, flood, storms, explosion, earthquakes, pandemics, other acts of God or war or in the case of webinars, technical failures.

Changes in program

Novotel New Plymouth reserves the right to withdraw, replace, add or substitute artists or performers without notice.

Refusal of admission or ejection for objectionable behaviour

The venue reserves the right, without refund of any amount paid, to refuse admission to, or eject, any person whose behaviour does not comply with the rules and regulations set forth by the venue including dress standards, intoxication or, any behaviour that is deemed inappropriate.

Photography and filming

Attendees consent to being photographed and/or filmed as members of the audience at the event. By entering this event site you agree to being filmed or photographed which may be used for marketing or promotional purposes.  If, at the event, you wish to withdraw your consent, please ensure you make our duty manager aware of this.

Card data security policy

Novotel New Plymouth uses secure third-party gateways to process credit card information and does not store or process credit cards itself.

Payments are processed by Windcave. Any credit card details stored for recurring payments are done so on Windcave’s system. No credit card information is stored by Novotel New Plymouth and Novotel New Plymouth is PCI compliant. Payments must be received prior to your booking being confirmed.

Windcave acknowledges that it is responsible for the security of cardholder data that it possesses, including the functions relating to storing, processing and transmitting of the cardholder data.

Windcave also affirms that is has complied with all applicable requirements to be considered PCI DSS compliant, and has performed the necessary steps to validate its compliance with the PCI DSS.

Windcave agrees to supply the current status of its PCI DSS compliance status, and evidence of its most recent validation of compliance if requested and will notify if this status changes

Credit card problems

Novotel New Plymouth’s ticketing system involves an immediate exchange of information between us and your bank via Windcave. Occasionally, your bank may not authorise a transaction, based on your account status or your card not being enabled for online purchases. In these instances, it is your bank denying your card and not Novotel New Plymouth so please contact your bank for a resolution.

Privacy

Novotel New Plymouth does not disclose your personal information to third parties except for mailing or delivering your tickets which you give us express permission to complete your order.
