Waitangi Room

The Waitangi Room is our largest and most versatile event space, making it an ideal venue for conferences, corporate events, wedding receptions, gala dinners, training workshops, exhibitions and special occasions in New Plymouth.

Designed to accommodate a wide range of event styles, the room features an inbuilt bar, integrated audiovisual system, dedicated climate control and an abundance of natural light, with blackout options available when required. Large doors open onto an outdoor deck, creating seamless indoor and outdoor flow for networking breaks, pre dinner drinks or event activations.

The flexible layout allows the space to be configured in a variety of formats, including banquet, theatre, classroom, boardroom and cocktail style setups. Whether you are hosting a large conference or an intimate celebration, the Waitangi Room can be tailored to suit your event requirements.

The venue can accommodate up to 150 guests for a banquet dinner or up to 200 guests for a cocktail style event, while also providing an excellent option for small to medium sized functions.
